Today I am reviewing the Casio G-Shock GD100-1B watch. I've had this watch now for about eight months or so. I've worn this watch every day and it's one of my favorite watches of all time. This watch is pretty oversized but only weights 72 grams which is why I really like it. I have "clubby wrist" and this watch fits perfect and it's not heavy and discomforting like other watches of its size. It has a slew of built in features which I listed above. The only features I really use often are the alarm clock and the time-zone differentials since I have family over-seas.
As you can see the display is very easy to read. On the standard display it reads the time down to the seconds and the day and date. At night the illumination of the display lights up nice and bright. Navigating to the mass of features isn't hard at all. This was the first digital watch in my collection and I wasn't sure I'd like it due to all of it's features. It just seemed very complex and I wasn't sure I'd understand it all. But that's not the case. Casio did a wonderful job at printing the user manual out making it easy to understand for first-timers.
As you can see here the buttons on the dial have a very textured surface for maximum traction. The strap itself is about 1" wide and has a double buckle which I really like.
On the wrist you can see it fits great. I've worn this watch swimming, fishing and even wrecked a couple times on my mountain bike and it's not missed a heart beat. It's been bumped on walls and corners of tables many times! It's still ticking and still looks brand new! I love the material and color. I do recommend this to others.
For $75 bucks it's an awesome bargin. Order yours from LAPoliceGear.
Put "Blade Reviews 101" in the notes box upon checking out - Thanks
